PACK RULES

The Pooch Park is a privilege.

Having one close by can be a great
joy for dog owners.

But keeping the park means following the rules!
Rules for the park are posted at the entrance to the park.

In addition to the posted rules,
The following shall be adhered to.

The off-leash area of the Park includes ONLY the fenced
area.
Dogs should be LEASHED when traveling from the parking
lot into the park.

It is NOT RECOMMENDED to bring puppies under the age
of four months to the Park. Young puppies have not
reached
full immunity to potentially fatal diseases like
Parvo and Distemper they can acquire these diseases
through contact with other dogs at the Park, or even
through drinking water or soil.

Keep your young puppies at HOME, for their own safety!

Excessive barking may disturb the Park's neighbors or
may incite aggression in other dogs.

Quiet your dog if he/she is barking. If the dog will not be
quiet, you must remove him or her from the Park.

Do not bring a dog that you know to be ill, either with
viral (kennel cough, Parvo, Distemper) or parasitic
(worms, ticks, fleas) infection, into the Park.

Before bringing your dog into the Park, be certain that
you have established voice control over your pet.
That is, when you
call your pet  your pet should come
to you.

It is against LA County ordinance to leave a dog
unattended in a public place.

You must be INSIDE the fenced area of the Park
with your dog at all times.

All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied
and supervised by an adult.
Please do not allow young children to run and play
in the POOCH Park they may easily be accidentally injured
by running dogs.

Remember, your children have many places to play.

The dog park is your four-legged friend's only playground.
